Do you think it is good to let your children go to camp with your church group, or another group? Or should this not be something that is done. Does it matter to you what type childrens camp your child attends if you allow them to attend? Or how far away it is?

Yes it is important what type of camp anyone allows their children to go to I think. It is a good idea to know something about the camp and what it stands for I think.

I don't know anybody that will organise a camping of just any kind for Children, and i don't know any parents that will allow such a camping anyway.I still repeat that the most important is the kind of Children that will be camping with my Children, have a good day.

even though im not a parent yet i used to go to camp,i started to join camp when i was 2nd year high school.when International Baptist Missions for Asians or IBMA held the camp yearly all of the churches here in the philippines that is located in Luzon,Visayas and Mindanao participatates with the accompaniment of our head pastor and/or elder but not all is oblige to go there if you don't like it's ok.we are allowed to invite our friends as well but before we go to the camp site there is an orientation for all the campers to discuss with them the do's and dont's,what to bring and not to bring in the camp site. The reason that's why the Pastor and the elders is there so that he can watch over to the youth.camp is one of the things that can change the heart and attitude to learn a lot from it based on the bible.

I think that it is good for Christians to allow their children to go to camps that can help them to understand their faith better. I have heard of IBMA camps, But never attended any of them nor have my children. If we had more money then maybe we could allow our children to do more different things. I think the IBMA camps are a good idea. Our church supports some missionaries in the Phillippines.
