that is an interesting point. I think social success is very important since it makes a person feel happy to be accepted by others. There's a saying that "What is popular is not always right; What is right is not always popular." Doing what is right is a lot easier said that done. A person may give up what is right to maintain in good terms with others. Would you know someone who gave up popularity to uphold what is right? Cheers:)
