Why ladies live more years than gents

i think they have more capacity to tolerate this world then men

I think it has a lot to do with hormones protecting (true in cases of heart disease) and the fact that women may handle stress better than men. A lot of men tend to die not long after retirement also, so it could have something to do with them "dropping their bundle"

Is that scientifically proven or just from what you experience? I'm not sure that's true in most situations.

If that's a scientific fact, I didn't knew it! thanks. maybe they are adapted well to handle stress more than males, they have an undying love for their family which adds to their age! :)

May be they are given the chance

I thing the reason women live longer than men is because we give birth. I know that isn't scientifically proven, but it works for me. Also, I think because women intend to have females friends that they can talk to when the have problems, so that they can get it out of their system. Where men, intend to keep it all in and that isn't good for your body. One has to let go of the anger to let the body heal.
