Hi friends last night I was discussing heaven with my younger brother and he amazed me by asking a question why sky is blue? Really I am still wondering. I also searched the internet but could not find any interesting answer. What you think why sky color is blue??? Why?

keeping it as simple as possible, the sky is blue because on something called TYNDALL EFFECT... the atmosphere is a colloidal mixture and when light passes through it, the mixture disperses it n we see some shades of color, prominently blue... if you want to show him by an experiment, just take some water in a glass jar n mix some some in it, just do not let the lather form... and then use a torch to pass light through it... u'll see the blue-green color of the sky in the jar... enjoy......

I guess it has something to do with sunlight, ozon, atmosphere, breaking lights. The same reason why we see a rainbow sometimes ?? The funny thing is that the sky is still blue when you are above the clouds in an aeroplane ! It`s got nothing to do with clouds and teh water of them though.
