How Do You Like Your Eggs?

How Do You Like Your Eggs? Just like having your meat cooked rare, medium or well, an egg's yolk can be fried to different degrees of firmness. Over Hard: Cooked on both sides until the yolk is solid. Over Medium: Cooked on both sides until the yolk is thick, but still liquid. Over Easy: Cooked on both sides, but yolk is liquid. Also referred to as "runny." Sunny Side Up: Cooked on one side. Yolk is liquid. Steam-Fried: A teaspoon of water is poured over each egg and a cover placed on the pan for the last minute of cooking. Fried: Cooked on both sides with a broken yolk, which is fried until hard. This variation is commonly used in Asian dishes and in fried egg sandwiches.

I am not really particular about the eggs I eat but I do insist that it be cooked just before I eat it. I like red eggs. Cheers!!

Sunny side up... I tasted the others that you mention but nothing beats the sunny side up for me.... I eat the white one first and eat the yolk whole... its really good when it is newly cooked....

I'd eat the eggs in all the forms that you have described, but I always prefer the sunny side up. I even had it for breakfast this morning.

I just love eggs in any form. Less boiled to hard boiled. My mom prepares scrambled egg in her own style and I just love it. As you said its typical Asian style, more appropriately Indian style. I prefer poaches (sunny side up) on breakfast with pepper and salt sprinkles. Oh I am so hungry now...lunch time, I guess.

I like my eggs either scrambled, or hard cooked, as in cooked on both sides until the yoke is solid, I don't like runny eggs...just don't..lol. My husband on the other hand likes his over easy...and of course I like fried eggs too, good as a sandwhich.
