Do you have a friend or relative for whom tact is an alien concept?

I have an aunt who is always full of 'useful advice' as to what other people should do. She thought I should have a different job and, after several suggestions went for 'You could be a lap dancer' ...well, pleeeese, I know my limitations and pointed out that I really wasn't suitable lapdance material. Immediately she came back with ' Its alright,... you dont have to be young, slim or good-looking. Some blokes like fat ugly old women.' Oh well, I'll be a natural then!

Hi Wizzywig! That's so funny, your aunt sounds like a character. Reminds me of a incident that happened a few days ago. My eldest daughter was going on a date, and the family was trying to ease her insecurity about the outfit she chose to wear.{she doesn't date at all, but really like this boy from school} Here we are about four of us telling her how good she looked, just when she was starting to settle down, here comes my 15 year old son out of his room:"Are you wearing that"? ask the boy genius. We all looked at him and asked, why? {wrong answer} well he proceeded to tell her { and us} why. To make a long story short, he manage to destroy in one minute what it took five of us half an hour to accomplish. So after my daughter changed yet another outfit and left, i asked him why he did that, he said she dresses like an old lady, and he wanted to spare her the embarassment. I still dont get that one, oh and that instead of taking advice from us she should have came to him. Hope you see why i want to strangle him on a daily basis. {{{HUGS}}}
