Selling products from a dropshipper sounds like the work-from-homer's perfect job. I know a lot of people are trying to do it. But I want to know how many people are actually being successful? Does anyone do this for a living? Is it only good for a little spending money?

There are good dropship companies out there. It depends on what you want to sell. A REAL drop ship company is free to use. However, they do require a resale certificate. I use a1agifts.com , but if you blingo.com and search for dropshipers, you'll find more

Thanks for the info. I'll do a search for myself. So what is a resale certificate? Is it difficult to get?

You will have to file for a business license from your state. You can do it onle and the average is about $25.00. Once youhave done that, you can request/print out a resale certificate so you canbuy at wholesale and resell. A retail business license is a one time expense. I've had mine for 8 years now. I sell on eBay and elsewhere.

Both in theory and in practice drop ship programs are enormous. A proffesional "tool" for every business. The most important thing in drop ship business (as the friend said in comments above) is how much responsible and reliable is any company that provides drop ship services.
