During my final interview with the Managing Director where I first worked, the only question I was asked was if I had any questions about the company. I was taken aback and said that I don't have any. I was then told that her decision lies on the questions I would throw at her. Pressured and tensed, I found it difficult to think straight. She was a very powerful woman-the first lady partner of a prestigious law firm in our country, and very well known for being small but terrible. Fortunately, she was pleased that I asked about the mission and vision of the company and how they intended to achieve it. I was hired within one week after the dreaded interview.

I don't think I have ever had any off the wall questions asked of me. I did have a very nosy person interview me once and she asked a lot of questions about my kids and what would I do if one of them was sick. Needless to say I didn't take that job! Sorry but doesn't matter how much you pay me - my kids come FIRST!
