What time do you sleep?

It's now 12.11 am over here, and I've just finished my work, and have now logged into myLot, to see what's new or happening! I notice that many of us do not sleep early - we are mostly online, surfing the net, chatting, myLotting, playing games or doing work. I don't sleep early, maybe around 1-2 am, as this is the best time to get some work done (quiet and cooler), or just to chat or myLot, as people from other parts of the world would have logged in. - I see a lot of new discussions and comments. I am curious - what time do you sleep? Do you have a set bedtime, that you follow strictly? Or do you sleep whenever you feel like sleeping?

Hi Ursprakash, it's nice to surf at this time; only that it's rather slow. Maybe many people are also thinking the same as us, so most of them are online! Anyway, thanks for responding, and have a good day!

I haven't had a set bedtime for the longest. It's probably not healthy but I just end up going to sleep whenever I feel like sleeping, which is usually no earlier than 1-2am also. Then on top of that, I still get up early in the morning lol.

Hi, looks like most of us sleep by 1-2 am. It's a wonder that we can wake up for work the next morning. I've to drag myself up by 6am (after the alarm clock rang like 4-5 times!) Anyway, thanks for responding and have a good day!

Hi chenee, have you tried reversing your hours? Like don't sleep so late in the morning, so that you'd be tired by night? Anyway, thanks for responding and have a good day!

I sleep when I feel like it. My lotting makes me awake for several hours. It's nice to surf this moment of time when everybody is sleeping. No disturbance. Good morning to all.

Hi Reckon, for us over here, we'd think that everyone is sleeping, so it's the best time to surf. But it's also the slowest time, because many people are online, including those from other countries, who have just woke up. Anyway, thanks for responding and have a good day!

I sleep early because I have a baby who sleeps early and wakes up early, too. I do the same so i could attend to her needs. And it is hard if I don't or else I found it hard to wake up early, too. I pity my baby if I could not attend to her needs. I am a hand-on mom.

Hey lazeebee, I find that now that I am a myloter I really don't go to sleep until at least 2:00am. It is now 10:12pm in NY. I just love being here at mylot so I can just stay on and check out all the great discussions that are going on for as long as I like. I'm not as good at starting a discussion. I prefer to respond. I have trouble falling asleep so this is perfect for me. I don't usually have to get up too early right now since I'm not working at the moment. When I have an appointment early it is a problem. I have to force myself to get to sleep. So for now I will enjoy myself and continue looking for some nice topics to respond too!

Hi Opal, we are about a day away (21 hours plus, I think!)...glad to hear that you enjoy here at myLot. I have fun here too, got to know some nice people, who are willing to share info and tips (money-making, writing, so on). I'm no good at starting discussions either - I've seen some myLotters who are able to start a few each day, or at least one per day. Mine is like hit and run - anything that comes to mind! And sometimes nothing at all for a week or so! Like you, I enjoy more at responding! Anyway, thanks for sharing and keep posting! Have a great day!

It usually depends. Lately I have been going to sleep before 10:30 pm. I stay awake a little after I tuck my son into bed and watch some comedies on television. Usually at a certain time I start getting tired and retire for the night. On some nights I am not as tired and I like to stay up and eat a snack and watch some more television. I don't usually stay up until the wee hours of the morning.

Hi, I suppose you must be tired out taking care of your kid; do you work as well? But it's good to sleep early. Having said that, I won't be able to do that - sleep early! Anyway, thanks for responding and have a good day!

I have always been the type to stay up late. Even when I was younger and in school I would stay up until 12-1230. I just have always had a problem with sleeping at night. I still go to sleep at about 1-2 sometimes later. Then there is times that I put my son to be and I fall asleep with him but thats if I am tired and didnt get much sleep the night before. He wakes me up between 830-930 in the morning so sometimes I dont get enough sleep the night before and go to bed early with him. But no I dont have a set bed time for myself. Its just whenever I want really.

Hi, mothers don't get to wake up late, eh? I gather you've gotten used to sleeping late at night, just like me. It's totally alien to me, if I have to sleep at 9pm. When I was helping my sister take care of her young sons, I had to put them to bed at 9pm. Once they slept, I'd jump out of bed, and do my stuff - watch TV, read books, until 1-2 am. It's a habit that is very hard to break! Thanks for sharing and have a good day!

I do not generally go to bed before eleven at night. My son is a youngster and comes home late after his work. I wait to serve him his food, chat a bit and then go to bed. I can manage late nights but getting up early is something beyond me.I n our country people belonging to South India get up at unearthly[in my dictionary] hours like 4 and 4.430 in the mornings. I am in Mumbai and here many do get up at around six or so because people have to get ready for their office and commuting is a hassle in this place. Trains and buses bulge and If you take a train after 8.30, in the morning , you get down in the form of a pulp. I am a stay at home person [home maker/mom], and work very fast even if I get up late-regarding preparing morning coffee and breakfast. so i get up late in the morning after going late to bed at night.

I'm definitely a night-owl. It must come from my late-night study sessions in college. I'm usually in bed at the very latest 2am eastern standard time. My boyfriend lives a few hours away so I'm normally on the phone with him until VERY late. However, I can't sleep super late...I'm up by 9:30 at the latest. I have to tell you, that stinks sometimes :-) Have a great day!

You have a sort of fixed time to sleep - by 2am. And if you wake up by 9.30am, that would be at least 7 hours of sleep. How nice! Wish I could do that everyday! Thanks for responding and have a good day!

My sleeptime is usually 12midnight, I'll go to bed around 11pm but I lay there watching tv or reading, and I won't fall asleep till 12:00. I try to be in bed at that time every night. I used to be able to stay up till 1 or 2 in the morning when I was younger, I can't do that anymore..lol.
