What sort of things do you like to spend your money most on? and what is the least thing you pay for?
As for me, i don't like to spend a lot of money on transportation. esp. taxi. as long as i can take a bus, not in a hurry, i won't take a taxi. Instead, i'd rather save that money to buy clothes or food or jewellery and make ups. or, treat friend. men like to take a taxi, sometimes, i say sometimes, it's for the pride (a minority of people own cars in my country).
i am very willing to spend my money on things i can touch, taste rather than invisible things.

There is one thing I really hate to spend money on - interest for loans. Even if it is a car loan or the mortgage. I also don't like spending money on sales tax. We already pay a state income tax on our wage - so why do we also pay sales taxes? It's 7% here for sales tax.

That's terrible that your company would withhold the taxes and then not pay the government. I hear about it happening too often. Was the company in financial trouble or were they just crooks?

Actually they are not crooks! they are relatively fomal college! many companies do so, they are blood suckers! to accuse them, you have to provide proofs and travel back and forth, sacrificing lot of time on it, and in the end, you can seldom win ! so no one defend their proper right here, in my place. we just learn to endure, cause china is not a country with developed laws.

Lately unfortunatley it seems like I ahve been spending alot of money on gas and food. I have very little sdiscretionary income at this point. When I do buy somehting that falls into that category it is usally something that has been deeply discounted.

I agree with you on hating to spend so much on gas. Gas has gone down almost 30 cents a gallong since I last filled up. That's brought it back down to where it was right after Katrina. Sad isn't it that post-Katrina prices are a budget relief.

As far as possible I don't spend anything at all on things we don't actually need. If we can walk somewhere rather than paying for transportm, that help,s, I buy most things second hand, or in bulk, and of course we make loads of things. SO probably, I spend most on raw materials and raw ingredients that we then turn into other stuff.

I am careful with money an there is no way that I would use a taxi if there were another way of getting home or to my destination,if I was laden with shopping and there was no alternative then yes ok,but usually where I go is within walking distance,so theres no need for taxi fares, but the same as you I like to see something for my money,

Is taking a taxi expensive in your city? how is it charged? in my hometown, the minimum fee is RMB8.00, with 1.00 more/ 500 meters. at night after 22:00, the minimum rise to RMB 9.00. as i live far from work, it takes me 20.00yuan to go to work for a single trip, let alone two-way trip.
