Do you have problems with memory cards and spyro?

Here lately my memory card will not work when Spyro is in the play station. The game system will read it for every other game but spyro! have you had this happen to you?

This has never happened to me when I have played Spyro. Maybe you need a new copy of the disc, or a new copy of the memory card?
