Do you have household routines?

A couple of months ago I decided I didn't want to leave my children every day at daycare because I needed to go to work. My husband and I decided it would be better for them if I were home, so that's what we did. From the first day I stayed home I needed to find a new routine during the day. I couldn't only play with the children or play on the computer, it was my job to keep the household up and running. Before that we split up the tasks because we both were working.
Because I couldn't find a good routine I searched on the internet for help and I stumbled on the website of flylady. This woman helped me to find my way in my new role in live and my household routines are slowly coming together. I have a day fixed for everything and my morning and evening routines are all set up. I'm happier now I know what needs to be done and I only have to think about what's next on my list.
Now I wonder how many of the people around here have their own set of routines. Do you need routines, or do you just do what you think is needed that day? What works best for you? Do you make To Do-lists every day or not?
Have a nice day
