I got this email from a friend and I like to share this information with you all. Sitting at a computer for long periods often cause neck and shoulder stiffness and occasionally lower back pain. Do these stretches every hour or so throughout the day or whenever you feel still. Also be sure to get up and walk around the office whenever you think of it. You’ll feel better. I hope it will be useful for all of you.

yes this sort of thing is very good for aches and pains, I have seen two people on TV over a matter of months talking about how we should what they both said oil the discs in our spine, and that is simply by simple little movements which is in actual fact getting fluid to the discs, when there is no fluid that is when we get the aches and pains...years ago i heard someone say we could all learn a lot from the cat, how they stretch from head to toe...

I think you are right about learning from the cat how to stretch our body, because the cat when sleep don't roll over just slept in the same position. Thank you for your response and have a nice day.

That's good advice. I use my compuer at the coffee shop, and my avourite chair is a nice soft one. I hae a easy chair in the back room that I like to use. My computer is a laptop, so I can sit as close to it as I need to. I find it uncomortable to use a compuer at a high desk, or even on the cafe tables. I much prefer using my computer on my lap.

Hello, my friend. Thanks for sharing this with us. People who are usually sitting in front of a computer should try it sometimes, it may really help. I have tried some of the first, and they are great. Now, I think that tomorrow I'll be back to this discussion and I will save the image for further looking. Respectfully, Munhozmib.

it is really painful to the back and to other parts of the body being in front of the computer for a very long time. i work almost the whole day in the office, in front of my computer. and at the end of the day, i really feel a lot of pain in my body. one thing i do to get relief is to have a body massage. thanks for the information and i will try it next time.

I'm working as a call center and I sit for 8 hours a day not including the times that I am at home and riding a bus. I got a lower back pain.

Sitting for long periods can also cause blood clots and possibly kill you, so you really do need to get up and move around regularly.

Yeah my body does feel a bit achy when I spend too much time on the pc. But that isn't only my concern. Sitting in front of the computer all day gave me a bad posture and it's really annoying since I can't get rid of it anymore! So my question is, can computer and desk stretches improve my posture? I know it has something to do with the way I sit, but I can't notice it anymore when I enjoy surfing the net..
