Many of you know Acutedisater (my daughter) entered a video scholarship contest http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1626489.aspx She added one of the scholarshippoints.com staff members to her myspace page. The just sent her a message on myspace telling her that she has inspired them for an idea for the next contest. This is what they sent her: "You've inspired us. I think the next contest will be the "$1,000 Bag Your Head" Photo Scholarship Contest" where we ask people to make the most bizarre bag heads and we'll use you as the poster girl. How's that sound? There of course would be something sweet in it for you! :) PG" She is completely thrilled! Have you ever been the inspiration for ANYTHING? If so what was it?

That's so great! You must be so happy and excited. She must be very excited! I am an inspiration every day for my children and husband's bytching and complaining. If I wasn't here, they probably wouldn't have much to say. Other than that, no, I have always worked on a team so even when my idea was the best the "team" got the credit for it. lol.

I am happy for her and very proud. She is such a good kid. I am very proud. Keep inspiring your kids.. one day they will appreciate it :)

That is so cool! Hopefully she will get a little honorarium and be able to go to the college of her dreams. I don't know how that other guy is up over 2000 views! I would like to inspire someone to come fix my bathroom for a decent fee! I would also like to inspire my stepson to get a job and his own apartment. That one is a huge pipe dream.

2 of those people are staff members of scolarshippoints.. so those views we aren't worried about.. the contest has been up for a month.. the other guy with 1300 something views probably put his entry up at the beginning... thats ok though.. she'll beat him :)

THAT IS GREAT!!!!! No, I don't think I've ever inspired anyone. I'm a very ordinary person who doesn't socialize much. But I have two sons who have inspired people so I consider myself a rousing success in life!

This is a great opportunity for her to boom and be someone.I am happy for her.I am sure you are so proud for your daughter.Good luck to her and always do her best to reach her goal.
