Are you tired of taxes?
Is there any other taxes you can think of that you can put on this list that you are being taxed for in your country?

I dont mind taxes too much. They are necessary for a good standard of living for all. I just hope in this country we can have health care for all like you have in Canada. We need it so badly here, and I would be willing to pay more taxes to make it happen, and I think alot of others in this country would also.

A friend sent me this in an email last week and I also thought at first it was a big joke then got to reading and it is so true, pretty sad isn't it. Off hand I can't think of anything to add to the list, seems like they pretty well have it covered.

Well, seems that everything I'm being taxed for is on the list, except for property taxes are cut in 2, with city and county property taxes, so the County can get you twice in the wallet. I am tired of taxes, our state has the highest sales tax of 9 something%, and a 8.something%. So we get hit twice, it's not even funny anymore. People did complain and they only lowerd it by half a penny, if you can believe that crap. We don't have a state income tax, so I guess they think, hitting us twice on sales tax and property taxes, is making up for that. I don't see the point in paying taxes on property that's already paid for.

we have city taxes, provincial taxes and federal taxes here, it is just crazy

Our city taxes are around 400 and something, the county is the highest being nearly 800. I wonder if provincial is like county taxes. I know I had to pay county taxes because of my parents, but I didn't think I lived in the city, until I called. I asked what my property taxes goes towards, and now if a police officer calls wanting donations, it irritates me, didn't my taxes do enough, by paying for your salary. With almost 1200 in property taxes, it's almost up there with my mortgage payment. Whoever told us buying a house was cheaper than renting, should have his butt stumped. We could be saving tons of money if we rented, and when we got tired of this state, we could have easily packed up and moved.

Hi my friend,
I love it!!! It is so true that it's scary. I had to post it in my MySpace bullitins so my friends could read it. I am really tired of all the taxes. It seems as thought they re-tax money that has already been taxed.
