Has anyone had a really high heart rate during pregnancy? At two apts. Mine was 150 and 160 during the apt. it went down to about 90 but they were still concerned. It has now been 8 weeks and I am starting to have dizzy spells and my heart races to where I feel like I can't breath. I went to my doctor today after a scare while driving and they are doing a bunch of tests. Has this happened to anyone else?

Is it your heart rate or your blood pressure? My blood pressure went high the last week of my pregnancy. They did some tests and said I was starting to get preeclampsia. So since I was already 40 weeks, they induced me before it got bad. If it's your heart rate then I'm not sure what to tell you. With my blood pressure being high I didn't notice anything wrong. I hope that everything is ok. How far along are you?

My heart rate (pulse). I am a pretty small person so it is more than double what it should be. Also I am only 26 weeks so this is very early to start having problems like that. I can't wait to get the blood work back to see if they find anything. My hubby is a nurse and listened to my heart last night and he heard PAC's (which is an irregular heart beat) I will tell my doctor when I talk to him. We'll see what happens.
