Wow, make sure that you approve my friend request, please! I'd love to learn more about what you're doing specifically--do you have a lot of referrals? My referrals all gave up--I think in total, they've only managed about 9 cents and that was last year.... I'm usually on more (I'm unemployed, but hoping to find SOMETHING this week--I'm stir crazy!), so making the ten dollar minimum payout usually isn't a problem (except for this last month of H3LL I've gone through). I'm not asking for a hand OUT, just a hand UP!

how many posts a do u put every day more or less??, just to get an idea of how many posts would be needed to make a buck.

Yesterday, I had 34 posts. I added photos and rated discussions. I do not know for sure if rating discussions will earn you money, but I do know that photos will. I did receive a few best responses, that will also boost your earnings. Good luck

I guess I am totally confused, because after I posted the last comment one point was taken from me.

I'm so sorry to hear about your father being ill; is he feeling better now? I won't know for sure just how short I actually am until tomorrow anyway. I'll just keep plugging away and try not to slack off next month too much (I'm starting back to college in about three weeks). Take care and I hope your dad's doing better.

I WAS going to change my payout to $25 for this month, but I'm glad I didn't! I was so frustrated six months ago; I'd keep being short each month by mere pennies! Now I've learned some tricks on how to increase my earnings, but I don't think I'll be as ambitious as you and up my payout to much more then $25! Good luck making your goals!

I'm so happy for you! It's so much fun when you check your earnings and learn that you've reach payout--whether it's the first time, or the fifth (which is how many times I've been paid, I think). I'll know after tomorrow just how short I will be; I'm off to finish answering people for this discussion, try starting a few more and answer some tonight...I've got nothing else to do! Thanks!

Angel, I missed you too! Things are improving (to a degree); I give up my car after I work my show tomorrow night (I don't mind really), but otherwise, not too bad. Social Security called; they're going to set me up for neuro and psych testing next week (this is for my disability claim). I'm feeling pretty awesome physically (which reminds me, I should go eat!), just being totally broke is killing me! I better make some serious money tomorrow night! I guess I won't know for sure until tomorrow, when they post the numbers. Only $5.03 to go! Keep in touch, 'kay?

So close...and yet so far! ARGH! I have beem close (but not THAT close) and believe me, the disappointment (especially when I make it the next day!). The amount I'd need is still so far away that I'm more annoyed at my circumstances this month than anything else. You'll have a great payout this month then!

foxy, that's awesome that you're going to get to the $20 mark (my dream!) this month! For me, I have a life where months get in the way--I often tell people that my life could be a Jerry Springer show!

You will next month--I can see how determined you are already! Since we both have over 1000 posts, we can also utilize some other ideas to help us earn a few bucks--the myLot code and the ability to post images. Everything seems to help--it shows that we're demonstrating our ability to participate actively in discussions. You'll have money accumulating once you start doing those little additions! That's the right attitude though! I remember when I was new--back then, it was easier to make payout, but I went from one month (3 weeks, ok?) to 1 YEAR! There's a lot of tips and tricks within the myLot forum about how to earn more here; take advantage of everyone else's knowledge. Thanks for responding!

I fully expected to be over 1200 posts this month (good thing I didn't post THAT goal, I'd be kicking myself right about now...), but I'm working for different numbers after I see what July has for me tomorrow! Well, my earnings are increased by my ability to post emoticons (myLot code) and images; that will come once you have a great number of posts. I haven't really spent much time until this evening; I've been working for about 4 hours (NOT nonstop!). Good luck and welcome to myLot!

Good luck in making payout next month! You have more than 1000 posts; you should be able to take advantage of some of the extras to make more money--using myLot code and images (for example). I try to take advantage of whatever I can...and keep an eye out for additional tips (I usually pick them up here in the myLot forum).

Oh I know. If I was worried about the money I would have taken off eons ago. I keep coming back because there is a wide variety of discussion that I can get into.

It will come one day! MyLot isn't about making money really fast; it's more of a social discussion site! The site is still small, but it's steadily growing (which is all that matters), and can be quite fun! Keep it up--you'll get there!

Vicky, how close are you? I mean, we still have today (the 31st) to make a last ditch effort! Don't give up, I know you can do it! Here's some things that you could do to help boost earnings (I'm not sure if you can do all of them though...): [i]a) use the myLot code (the link on the left side of the discussion box)--use three emoticons and some of the text enhancing features on each discussion b) upload pictures (like I'm doing here) and make sure they have LONG, comprehensive descriptions c) try to make each response to a discussion a minimum of THREE sentences, preferably ones that encourage the author (or others) to respond, or try to post 2 to 3 paragraphs d) put as many tags as you can (it demonstrates participation) e) rate as many discussions that you're a participant in (I wouldn't think that they'd allow you to rate a discussion you're NOT a part of and receive payment) f) respond to someone's response to a discussion (ie, if someone else chose to respond to YOUR response to MY discussion)[/i] These are just a few tips I've picked up in the last few months. HTH!
