I miss those days

I responded to one discussion here about eating fruit fresh from a tree.. I am suddenly reminded of my childhood.. I lived in a province before.. In our backyard, we have trees.. My cousin and I used to climb those trees (especially mango and sampaloc tree).. and we loved to eat fruits while we were up there.. and sometimes I would climb up a tree if I wanted to skip or hide from grandma.. My cousin is my best friend too.. We are also near a beach.. just a few walks away.. we would go there early morning. It was a tradition there that most people would go to that beach on black saturday (Sabado de gloria) and usually most of my relatives including my parents would go to our province during that time of year... Now I am here in the city (Manila) as well as my cousin. We've been here for more or less 8 years now.. Last time we visited our province, some of the trees were still there, with new ones.. I missed climbing the trees, but I am a lady now.. it would be funny if I were seen doing that.. my cousin and I are as close as we were before, but we no longer do what we used to do back when we were young.. how bout you, do you have something you used to do that you really miss? something that you can still do but you would choose not to because you're already grown up?

I was born in Central Visayas of Cebu Philippines and as I remember when I was still at young age I used to have a vacation in my Mother's land in which it is located in Negros Oriental and it is pretty amazing in there because all of the food that has been eaten is all fresh like rice because they have rice field, avocado in which it is in the early morning when you will open the window it is the first thing you will see then coconut, Ohhhhh i missed a lot on there and it very long time ago since my last vacation and that time they still do not have an electricity and just recently my Mother told me that the place is really interesting now because of the accomodities of the place .....
