I myself know little about the effects of Global warming,so if you could tell me one piece of information about the consequences of global warming, what would you tell me?

Ice-caps melting, sea levels rising, carbon dioxide levels increasing, thus causing temperature to increase even further. Of course we don't know whether global warming is influenced by man or whether the Earth is on a natural cycle of heating/cooling anyway.

I think the evidence is fairly clear that the Earth's natural cycles are being pushed towards extremes due to man-made conditions. http://www.realclimate.org

When I think myself about global warming the two things come to mind are melting the glacier and climate changing. These are real facts. Ice is melting few inches every year, no of polar bare is decreasing every year. And we all are experiencing how weather is going crazy. This year wild fire and tornado are very high in no here in USA. I just want to say that we should do what ever we can do to save the environment; no matter how small thing it is. If every one will do something small that will make a big difference and we will be able to save our planet and ourself.

Hi ruby There are various effects of global warming which is really hazardous to the people and to the environment.. One of the famous is the sudden changes of climate and weather as well as rising of sea level! that is why it's been being inculcated in the mind of every people to take care of the mother nature so we will not end up suffering more of the effect of what have we done to Earth, by simple not caring of it!

Global warming is a consequence of man-made CO2 emissions, another consequence of those is 'ocean acidification' which is decreasing the ocean's alkalinity which is killing off coral reefs. :-(

Global warming is caused due to excessive co2 in the atmosphere. Its caused due to pollution and many other biological hazardious elements present on the earth due to human being's so called welfare.
