we have had some scary moments in our house , like waking up and having my little one crying and pointing to something on the other side of the room and then crying and screaming and not going in that room for months, then i was in the laundry room off of the kitchen the other day and he came running and screaming and kept looking behind him like something was chasing him. he would not let me put him down the rest of the day. He is almost 2.

Hey sweet, Well a lot of kids make their own imaginary world. They make imaginary friends and talk with them. I remember i use to do it also. This is quite natual but to an extent. I was wondering whether he does this kind of thing too much or not. If yes, then dont delay and check him up with a doctor becoz things can only get worse. Talk to him more openly and ask why he does things like that. Have a close look at his activities. Good luck! Cheers, Tutul

I suggest you hire a medium, someone who can sense and communicate with the paranormal, get a psychic or call the ghost hunters TAPS they have a TV show they'll come and help you. they usually show themselves to babies/children because they are innocent and still believe in things that use adults don't, if he's scaring your baby then it's a problem. good luck.

wow, that sounds serious. have you been trying to talk with him about it and let him explain what he sees? Does it only happens when he is asleep or is he awake? If it is sleep, it might be a form of night terrors. they are quite frequent with little children. he sees things that he thinks are really there, but they arent. Eventually he will grow out of it, but all you can do for the moment, is try to confort him. These experiences can be really terrifying. If it keeps happening I would suggest you visit a doctor with him. They might have some good tips to handle this. If he also sees them when awake, I would definately go see a doctor. they will not laugh at you!

On the contrary my sisters son, always look at this certain part of the ceiling and smile as if he was tickled by somebody invincible. there are times that he would laugh as if he has a playmate. Thankfully as he grow older, all that stop.
