what is the longest that you have camped??

there is some people at our local forestry that I know have been there camping since may!! They have 3 kids too. They have a real nice tent and all of the stuff set up like a homestead. They have a grill and a propane stove. Propane lights,clotheline,It is like they made their selves at home.
Can they do this. I always thought that you could only camp for a couple of days at a time. we have camped for a night or 2 at the most. How comfortable could this be???

I love to camp, but I haven't been in maybe three years. Five days is the longest I have camped at one time. My husband loves to set the site up like a little homestead
Yes, it is allowed to stay as long as you want as long as you pay the fees. Some people actually live on campsites year round.
Where we go there was a lady known as the chicken lady, because she had chickens on her site.
My husband would put up a sign with our name on it, an American flag, we would have the propane stove going on, he would bring the TV, radio, guitar any toy that he thought he could not do without
. We camped in a tent, with an air mattress, we would have a lamp, it was a two room tent, we would have a place to take our clothes out, we also would bring a clothes line. Camping is cool, hope to be going soon.
