A Windfall in My Mailbox Today

I just love mypoints. I have gotten some gift cards from them as well. A few months ago I cashed in my points for a $25 Home Depot card and used it for supplies for home repairs. And just last week I had enough points to get a $10 Lowe's gift card. Only twice have I used mypoints for making a purchase, it was one I was going to make anyway I just did it online instead and received points for it. I like the fact there is so many options as far as shopping and redeeming.

I used to be in mypoints but it was taking me waaaaaaay to long to get anywhere with them. I might check it out again the next time I have a few days off. It seems like, though, whenever people would try to use other cash cards at the WalMart store where I used to be, the system wouldn't accept them for some reason. Does mypoints have a list of stores where they can be used with no problems?

I get those emails from my points all of the time. I joined and I don't ever go and check they or read the email. I should pay a little more attention to what is there and take the time to read them. I get so much junk mail that i just delete it and keep going. I think that I will start paying more attention to the emails that they send.

Very nice!! I belong a send earnings and hoping for something similar soon. I thought you had to shop to get anything on My Points, maybe I confused it with something else. I'll look for it on your profile, I'm game for that!

I joined mypoints a couple weeks ago. I havent done anything on there as of yet as i wasnt sure how valid/real they were. I'll do some now i know!

Thats good...anything helps these days. I'm a member of Mypoints but I haven't gotten anything from them yet. I have some points, but I didn't know how many you had to have to get anything. How many do you have to have to get a gift card? I'll ask you that since I don't want to put on here how many points I have. Its easy to do, they add up fast. Thanks..have a good day

I've been a member of My Points for many years. It's a great program and I have cashed in points to get giftcards. Good idea to use a Walmart giftcard for gas. I didn't think about this idea. Duh, where have I been! I have over 20,000 points right now and plan to cash in the points for an airline ticket. Can't remember how many points it takes to get a free ticket. I would recommend this site to any and all myLot members. In the past I have used a giftcard to buy craft supplies to make new and more crafts.

Oh, I LOVE MyPoints!!!!! I have been a memeber for about a hundred hears - well since early 2000. A few years ago we used a lot of my points for Home Depot cards and painted our house and replaced all the electrical outlets/light switches for FREE!!! I get the restaurant ones all the time too. Right now I have almost 15,000 points. I should probably browse through and see what all I can get! I do use their sites when I buy some things off the web so I can get more points.

I have not tried it, but since I am in Canada, I wonder whether it is available for people up here, or whether the benefits are mainly for Americans. That is the only reason, have not tried it. I have joined sites where most of the offers or most of the coupons, gift certificates are only available down there. Even cliksense does not give me as many links because I am not American.

I like Mypoints.I have gotten numerous giftcards from them.I got around 20.00 for my husband and also some other ones.Its so easy to do too.SOme people dont realize how easy it is.If they did they would be doing it too.

I love mypoints and have been a member for a long time. DH is even a member. I usually save my money and use them every other year for Christmas. This year I have enough to get my oldest an iPod for Christmas with no money out of my pocket. DH uses his for Home Depot. LOL

I've been a member of MyPoints since 2000. I love it! I'm very close to another $25.00 gift card myself. I believe I posted a discussion about this myself awhile back. I kinda wish it was like myLot in that you get paid 25% of whatever your referral make instead of only getting the points once, but at least it's a great site as it is. I get WalMart gift cards, too. You should also let everyone know that they can get gift cards for different (well-known) stores as well, and spend them online if they want to. So, anyone reading my response, PM Ldyjarhead and let her send you the request to join MyPoints. It really is a terrific site! I've made over $800.00 in gift cards since joining.

I would like to know more about this site. Do you have to respond to offers or do you just read?

That's a great idea and the best thing to do. I notice a lot of folks giving away gas cards and making folks get their gas at the car dealership where gas is a whole lot cheaper. We just had a big one at a car lot and folks came from all over for it.

I actually have received checks .. real cash money checks from a site I belong to called surveyspot.com. You do their surveys, some pay cash, others you earn points for their drawings. I did one survey that was for cat litter. They then sent me 40 pounds of cat litter free of charge, then I did a survey about it online after I had a chance to use the litter, then they sent me a check for 20$ for participating in that survey alone. Now there's a good deal... I got free cat litter, and 20$ for my cats poopin in it!!! can't beat that with a stick. You have to have a minimum of 5$ to request a check and you don't get paid for every survey unless you qualify in the demographics, but it's worth doing. I also do inbox dollars, and snap dollars and send earnings which are all for reading e-mails. I have a separate e-mail account for all of those to go to so that I can just open that account and go down the list. There's also one called hits4pay that I do, but it does require to leave the page up for 30 seconds, but it's guarenteed 2 cents for each one, and I open those and let them run in a different window and pop back and forth to the next one while I'm doing other stuff. Basically I just run it in the background when I'm surfin the net. I'll have to look into Mypoints I may be a member of that but haven't started on it as of yet.
