So I live with 2 other guys and we pay 750$ a month in rent. Well our landlord sold the house now we have a new landlord. The new one stopped by last week and said that he was going to raise the rent 150$ to make it 900$. While he was here we also said we are now encharge of mowing the lawn. The lease with our old landlord was up last month and he has being doing a month to month thing until they figured out the who was buying the house. The new landlord has never stepped foot into the house. I think there are some things that need to be fixyed before we start payig more. I need some of tha renters rights. Does anyone know where to get these??

If you are not currently under a lease with this new landlord you have no rights. Until you sign a lease neither of you is under contract to pay more or fix anything. I would read my new lease really well before you sign it though. Good luck, landlords can be real pains.
