This year we have had a very warm summer. But also nice rainfall. My tomato plants are huge. They are growing so well. This is the first year I have used a lot of my own compost which is working amazingly. I live in Cape Breton Canada and I think I will have some red ones in a week or so which hasn't happened to me before. So how is your garden doing this year?

Dear friend, That is really nice to know and moreover the garden near to my home is mostly looked after by my mother and my mother says it is better to use much of organic way of manure and fertilisers and also the garden is so beautiful with various colourful flowers. Even though I do not know the actual names of those plants I do like those plants and flowers to see, I hope it is really a talent to make a good garden and keep it well.

We have at least 30 big ole' tomatoes growing right now. I think they will start to ripen in about a week or so. The corn is finally starting to form some ears. The peaches on the tree are getting a nice rosy color to them. I think I can start picking them soon. The apples are getting bigger every day, but not quite picking size yet. Oh, and the basil and sage are doing great.

Mine , at first, looked like it was going to be more than bountiful. But...the only tomatoes that are growing are cherry (ies) and the romas. I planted about 5 different kinds this year, the bigger ones just aren't doing much. I planted lots of hot peppers ( cherry bombs, banana's, jalepenos, and cayennes. All of them are doing really good. My bell peppers are 'trying' it looks like and I have a few small ones growing. My cabbages look like they are being eaten alive, and the radishes, rather than pushing up grew up and tall and have flowers on them. lol, I have never tried these before. I also planted two types of squash, both kinds look beautiful , with huge leaves and big bright blooms, but not one squash yet. Aside from the hot peppers, my cucumbers are doing great ! My herbs are doing well except it looks like my dill has went to seed, I have alot of learning to do as you can tell. Next year I am hoping it's better. Hae a good night, and thanks for asking. Goad to hear that your tomatoes are doing good, Happy Gardening !
