Are you a stage parent?

Yesterday I watched my daughter's program in school. They are celebrating the Nutrition Month. They performed a jingle in relation to the event. What caught my attention was the parents who were busy taking pictures and videos of their kids. It was a good sight indeed! Love overflowing in their actions. But there were some who overdone it. To the point that they acted like "stage parents". Are you?

I use to video my kids performances in school, that is until my video camera broke! I do take lots of pictures. I am also very emotional, so when my kids are in something, I usually will tear up:)

I have the camera and video ready at all times incase my two daughters do something cute of crazy, I can capture that moment. I can understand about the "stage parents." They really proded their children in doing this and that...just overdoing it. But like what they say, children just come and go into stages that you will be glad that you have tons of photos and videos of them. One of the things my 4 year old loves to do is we sit down on the couch, take all the photo albums out and walk down memory lane.

I love taking pictures of my son, and because some pictures don't come out right you really do have to take a ton to get the best of the moment. I am sure to have well over 500 pictures in total and of those I have about 100+ of my son. and he's only 7 months old, but I love him and I want to catch the moment. I can at least say that there are a lot of memories of him, and I was right there in the act as well. :D
