I did not spend to much on maternity clothes. I did buy one good outfit for going out in and i just wore sweat pants and stuff all the rest of the time.. what all have you bought and how much have you spent. I think that I spent about 40.00 in total on maternity clothes. Thrift stores are awesome!!!!!

I bought dresses that were a size or two to large and then my mom made me a few things. All in all we spent about $50. I hated wearing pants over my belly and stuck mostly with the dresses (even though I am not a big dress wearer normally). I did have to buy different underwear since I ended up with a huge baby belly...

I think maybe around $50 for material. I was living in Samoa at the time and wore lots of wrap arounds (lavalava's) when I was pregnant. I think I received a few things from my inlaws but that's about it. When I went to NZ a month before giving birth, I wore my twin sisters pregnancy clothes so I didn't have to spend anything.

I saw the prices of maternity clothes and found them really expensive. I bought a maternity swimming costume off the Internet and some trousers from a shop in town. Then I thought of just buying large regular clothes at a cheap clothes shop. Normally a size 12 I went for size 20 clothes in larger pregnancy and they fitted. My sister gave me a few of her old maternity clothes so I was grateful. I spent about £50 on clothes during my last pregnancy. Yes, charity or thrift shops are a great place to get bargain maternity clothes.

I think I had 3 matenity shirts out of two pregnancies. I just wore baggy shirts and sweatpants or shorts while I was pregnant. I really didn't like the maternity clothes that were out so I probaly spen maybe $20 on altogether.

Hi sweetpeasmom! With my first pregnancy, i found myself spending alot of money on maternity clothes. But with all the others i spent as little as possible, when it came time for my last daughter, i didn't buy anything i just wore what was comfortable. Thank goodness for such a thing as hand me downs.

I bought sweat pants and only a few maternity shirts most of my shirts were baggy on me when I wasn't pregnant so they were still nice to use and in the summer I wore scrubs. yay

When I was still pregnant, I only spend few amounts om preggy clothes. I used my husband's shirts and shorts at home. lol And my mom gave me some also. I really intended it that way so I don't spend too much anyway I was only pregnant for nine months. besides i needed money to pay the hospital bill upon delivery.

the first time i got pregnant i was luck because the job i was at was a casual environment so i could wear sweat pants and a tshirt. but when i had my second son the job was more business casual so i had to buy some different outfits, but luckily i didnt have to because right when i started to show the company had a big lay off and i didnt work anymor during my pregnancy. i like you only bought an outfit if i was going somewhere.

I wore mostly my husband's clothes! I had some maternity clothes given to me, and really I think the only thing I had to buy was maternity underwear. It's been 10 years, but if I remember right I didn't spend any money on materntity clothes other than that.
