Good news for all the Harry Potter fans out there... the book Tales of Beedle the Bard... which was intentionally to be owned by only seven people will be made available to the public this December... and it will contain a lot of cool stuff like scribbles of Albus Dumbledore and Hermione Granger... And the best thing about this is that the proceeds will go to charity... particularly the Children's High Level Group Charity... which was co-founded by J.K. Rowling... I can't wait to have a copy of this book... i will start saving this month... i just hope it will be available in my country... Here is the news link... http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25946599/

I never wanted Harry Potter to end. Anything that would continue their story is good for me. Can't wait for December.

Well, that is our only consolation... since J.K. Rowling doesn't plan to write any more stories about the adventures of Harry Potter... and i am still hoping that she will start the Harry Potter Encyclopedia really soon... i want to know in detail what happen to all of the characters... thanks for the response... welcome to mylot and i hope you enjoy your stay here...

Hello aseretdd, I bet you are really a fan of Harry Potter *smiles* It has been 5 days since I saw your discussion. I read it before and just left it first to decide whether I should respond or not. I don't know anything about Harry Potter and that made me think many times what I should write here. I wish I can delete unrelated discussion like others but I just don't have the heart to do so to you *smiles* Well, I am sorry again since I am out of topic here! By the way, Tales of Beedle the Bard is another Harry Potter's book?

That is so very nice of you... although you are not obliged to respond to all my discussions... i so appreciate it when you do... Well, Tales of Beedle the Bard is not another Harry Potter book... but it is like a spin off... this book was a crucial part of the story in the last book... J.K. Rowling produced only 7 copies... 6 were given to close friends... and 1 was auctioned... all proceeds went to charity...

wow! that's cool! i would get one for myself when it comes out... I thought they wouldn't publish it coz it's limited to a few people. The book was auctioned and i thought, there's no chance i could get it. Now, i'm glad and excited to get one for me.

That is also what i thought... good thing they decided to make it available to the public... and the best thing about it is that all proceed will go to charity... so if we buy a copy... then it is like helping others too... thanks for the response...

A lot of Harry Potter fans will surely line up to get their own copy... although it is not a prequel or sequel to the Harry Potter series... it will still give us an insight about the wizarding world... and that is what's important... thanks for the response...

I do love the movies. I am looking forward to the new moving coming out. I have not been about to get into the book.

Well, i love the movies first before the books... but now that i have read all seven books... i love them more than the movies... i feel that each movie is not the continuation of the other... unlike the books... maybe because of the different directors... thanks for the response...

Yeah it looks like its going to be a really cute book. For those who want some severe spoilers you can go to Amazon.com and look up the book. Their listing has a full rundown of each story contained in the book and what they are about.

A collector's item will also be availble... but it will be sold for 50 pounds or $1000... that i cannot afford so i would have to be satisfied with the simple copy... i don't want to look at the spoiler since i want to find out each story as i read them... thanks for the response...

Someone was just mentioning that to me, and I knew I had heard the title before, but was just not placing it with the HP series...duh! Now I gotta get it!
