When i use to travel for a long distance, i use to prefer the Bags rather than the Suitcases.. because, we used to travel by our car for the long distances, its always easy to kept at our dicky the bages rather than the Suitcases.. So, i always prefer to take the Bags for our travel, and also its easy to carry than the suitcases, and its easy to kept anywhere in the car, we can kept under your foot, under our seats and anywhere we have a space, and even we can kept on ourselfs.. For the public trasport like the Bus or Train the suitcase is preferable, because its more security than handling the bags. Even we can tie the suitcase by using some chain or something for additional security. How about you.. Which one you prefer when you travel outside.. The Bag or the Suitcases...?? Post your opinions..

I prefer to use the bag of short distances. For long distances I land up in taking both a bag and a suitcase. I always prefer to keep my clothes in a suitcase. I think the preference is decided by how much stuff that I plan to carry and the duration of the travel.

I like to carry a suit case which has a roller at the bottom , i usually travel tour by train or buses where these rolling suitcases will be helful for me to carrry my luggaes if i prefer a bag i feel it as insecured and it will get crushed , yea things inside gets crushed and if it was suitcase it will be kept folded as it is..

Duffle bag for traveling - Duffle bag for traveling purpose...
I much prefer duffle bags over a suit case... Sometimes I don't have a choice... If I have to stay over night somewhere for work, I do carry both, duffle bag for everything & a suit case for the, of course, suit... Before I met my current girl friend, I went to Korea for my brother's wedding for 2 weeks... I had one duffle bag & a suit case for the suit, family dinner with the in-laws to be... In most cases, depending on my purpose, just the size of the duffle bag changes for me...

In my opinion suitcases are the best thing. They seem more durable and withstanding. Of course it depends on where you travel. Yet suitcases come in different sizes ))).

i prefer suitcases. a si think its having definite shape, it is easier to carry. may be in private car it does not matter. bu in public trasport i use what i feel more easy to carry and place too.

It all depends on where I'm going and for how long. If I am travelling overseas then I usually use suitcases. If I'm taking the train to see family in another state then I usually use a sports bag (if I can fit everything in one).

I always travel with a backpack not a bag or a suitcase then my hands can be left free of weight. The airline that I last flew on had a 15kg limit so I had a lightweight backpack whilst many other passengers had heavy suitcases. When reaching my accommodation I can lay my backpack on the ground. In the bottom compartment I keep my clothes and I have my other things in the top compartment. When I go out for the day I like to travel with my day pack and a few fold up bags to put my shopping in. I do not like to get plastic bags from shops because this is poor for the environment. Day pack and shopping bags can easily be put in the boot of a car, under the seats on a train or a bus. It is easy to keep an eye on my things for security sake.

No matter long or short travels, i will still prefer my bag because it's much more convenient as i can carry it around with me ^_^ THough a suitcase is more practical and easier to carry, but somehow i dun like the feeling of being too light.. lol =D Thus i like the weight on me rather than me wheeling my things around.. hehe ^_^ ANd i'm also much more organized with the things inside my bag..

I go for hand carry bags when traveling. But if it is out of the country, i needed something where I can put my clothes. I like bags actually. Fashionable ones.

Hello, chenni! For any sort of journey I prefer to carry with me the barest necessities and hence an air beg is convenient for me.it is easy to carry and it convenient to keep near the seat or under the seat when traveling in public transport or train or in the car. thanx.

I havent ever really traveled long distances. I have never traveled by plane or train, only by car, so whenever I travel I just use a bag. But I think that a suitcase would probably be better for long distances because it would keep the stuff more secure.

I like the bag. Suitcases are too stiff and I'll have to look for a space that conforms to the suitcase. The bag can always adjust and I can put it anywhere. With regards to security, I cannot always be assured that suitcases can add additional security. One can always grab it and cut it open at home. I would still choose the bag to keep a low profile. When someone sees the bag, others will just think that it contains things that are not so valuable.
