So i go to throw my mangled Border's receipt into recycles and stop, hey, I might have a coupon on there, let me see. Open it up and at the very bottom (below the barcode) it read: "Please Join us for our Breaking Dawn Midnight release PArty Beginning
Friday 8/1 at 8 P.M. and a la till the release at midnight!!"I read but I've never been a part of any book signing (except for the kids) or felt that inclined to need a first book of anything so when I saw it and after hearing all the buzz and even went so far as buying a book out of the series for myself, this seemed like the perfect opportunity and fun too.
The thing is, can someone tell me how this work if you have ever been to a BORDER's books release party. Do you HAVE to get there at 8 P.M. to be a part of the release at midnight or do you think I can just walk in at 11pm when they close to get in. I kind of lost my phone (AGAIN) and can't call them and we don't have a house phone.
Are you planning on bringing you and your friends to it? I do not think the author would of picked my state to first sign in so I think its just you can be the first one to purchase and no signing. Still, it sounds a little exciting and a good excuse for a mommies night out.
Tell me what you think!

I have never read any of her books, but my MIL about a year or so ago and forwarded me an email she got when on e of her books was released. Happens at the time - we had the same name and my MIL thought it was funny
I have been looking in our library for some of her books, but haven't come across any. Unfortunately, I don't have spare cash to buy any of the books.

Well I know the paperback is like 11.50 and the hardback 19.50 at Borders but I saw it in Kmart and it was 12 dollars for the hardback and a little bit cheaper at Walmart or Target. Everyone seems to be telling me its much easier to just get it from a friend.

The party turned out to be a disappointment because it only catered to school kids so the store was full of kids literally running all over the place becuase there was stations set up for trivia games and 'obstacle courses' but I got to chat with other adults while they waited around and that was fun, I gave everyone who didnt know the scoop and unfortunately didnt get to stay until midnight, we left at 11:50 because my boyfriend had had enough and probably was trying to steer me away from 'wasting my money', he's right, I would of bought it if I stayed.
Im curious to see how long the line lasted but Ill get all that information my next trip from the cafe.
