how can i strenghten our long distance relationship?!

it depends if you both have a computer and internet, i would probably recomend using a online comunity called Second Life, there you make a avatar and you can go to clubs and stuff, that way you can meet up online and feel asthough you still have a close relationship.

I am in a long distance relationship :) And I have been for the past 5 months. Its lovely. We always make dates to see each other, and its something to really look forward to. So I think you should just make dates and always talk about how exctied you are to see your partner, and how much you miss them right now.

I think the only thing I could think of is constant communication. That is a very important element that could strengthen your relationship with each other. Since physical intimacy is not possible the only way you could be together is being on constant communications with each other. I do hope you are doing that quite often.

with lots of daily communications. and loving loving... yah know...

Long distance relationships are very tough, but you can make it work if both of you want to do the work for it. My husband has been away for the past year due to his job. The best advice I can give is to communicate clearly and tell each other everything you feel is important. If you are trying to reassure your partner try setting up little dates with a webcam if you have one available, send little emails, take lots of pics so they have them to look at and let them know how much you miss them and love them...just be yourself and do the little things you know they will appreciate and make them feel special =)

It depends on what way you are in contact with each other. Either its IM (yahoo/msn/aim) or just fone. Cam's and pics and giving more and more time to your guy makes him go nowhere . Surprise him often with some new things.

Just try to be yourself which makes him happy and dont over do yourself which can give him wrong vibes.

well the best way is to talk to him on the phone and tell him how much u love him and miss him. with out know how far apart u are from him then it makes it hard to give u more help. in a long distance relationship its hard to say happy cuz u dont have tht much contact.

I think you are very lucky ,for your love is in this information age. The computer internet is so convenient, plus fixed phones, and mobile phones... When I was at your age, I could only writting letters. later on, when I worked and got married, my wife was in a far far away city, and this situation lasted for about six years. The better change is we both had phones at that time, so we could call each other twice a week or so, but we still could only see each other twice a year. Believe it or not. despite of the hard time, I really miss those traditional letters. If you are tired of convenient internet ways, would you like to try this traditional way? However,the longest waitting, was two months. the damned holiday delayed the postting process, and led to a big misunderstanding.

i noe what it's like to be in ur shoes =) its hard. reli reli hard. do u have any internet connection or does ur partner hav? its very important to stay in touch always. maybe u can buy a phone card to call overseas or wherever he's at and call him at random hours to sing to him? my boyfriend does that and it makes me feel so loved =)
