Windows vista is microsoft's latest relase on the window's computer line. Since it's release date many people have flooded stores just to get their hands on microsoft's latest offer. I've used windows vista on several occasions but still prefer to use windows xp. Windows Vista hasn't brought anything revolutionary and history changing to the digital world expect for better looks and maybe a few minor software and hardware changes. Windows Vista feels as though you're using windows xp only with a different theme. What do you think of windows vista.?..comments are welcome

I feel that Window Vista is suppose to be better for our computers, but I hear alot of bad things that it so glitchy and still have some bugs to work out. I have used Vista and it seems to work pretty good and looks more interesting. But it is up to the users now a days. I think I prob will update to window vista soon.......when I need to.

If your computer has 4Gb RAM and 256Mb graphics card then maybe upgrade to Vista. But then only if you check first that your router, modem, scanner, printer and all other kit plugged into your PC has Vista drivers available. If not, then add onto the cost of Vista the cost of new periferals.

i think windows tried to match graphics of other OSs like ubuntu(with breyl) or Mac. but what it ended with is a heavy OS,which need big hardware to use it smoothly.it may have gud graphics,,it will acquire a lot of space and will be slow like hell. i wud prefer to use linux ubuntu(compiz fusion) even better graphics and fast.and no virus threat. hope it helps.

Vista is ok if you are new to PC's and have a new computer and all the kit that goes with it is new. You will then learn from scratch all the new names for programs, address book and so on. If you are used to XP then you will find it frustrating how names have been changed for no good reason and you have to find your way around like a newbie. Rather stick with XP. That goes for Office 2007 too. Waste of money. Stick with older versions.

I don't think Window Vista is like a Window Xp. Window Vista has a different has a completely different and appealing outlook. Window Vista has New feautures, Improved Security, better overall user experience. It has some new feautures like Windows aero, Windos sidebar, Microsoft Windows Media Player 11, Windows search etc. Inspite of its features, it still has some bugs , that's why most somputer engineers prefer Windows Xp to Vista , and they even recommend people to use Windows Xp.
