Barbecue pizza!

We did a pizza night a few days ago, and I decided to try something new. I've been curious about the barbecue pizzas, but never had the guts to try one. When we ordered, I found a barbecue pizza on the menu without pineapple (I HATE pineapple on pizza!) and went ahead and took the plunge. I'm glad I did, because it was delicious! I got it with chicken and cheese.
Have you ever had a pizza where the sauce was barbecue sauce rather than tomato sauce? Did you like it? What toppings did you have on it?

I have never had barbecue pizza, I bet that was a different flavor than the tomato sauce. What this one of the popular pizza places or one of the neighborhood places? Now I know that they have a taco pizza but this is the first I have heard of a barbecue pizza.

There's a chain called Papa John's (don't know if it's a national chain or not) that has it. I think PizzaHut might have it, too, but we don't make a habit of ordering it. If you get a chance, you might be surprised!

I love pizza and very much enjoy a visit to Pizza hut,but hubby doesnt care too much for pizza,so its not often that I go..but I rather like the ordinary ones,the ham and pineapple and the traditional ones.Im more so taken by those tastes than the very fancy ones.But I will often buy myself a frozen pizza,but ive never had BBQ sauce on it.

I tend to like the traditional toppings, too, which made it even more surprising that I like this one. My guy doesn't like pizza too much, either, but he will occasionally indulge my pizza craving!
If you ever see a barbecue pizza, I'd definitely encourage you to try it.
