Quesadillas??

I love quesadillas (sp?). I could eat them every night of the week. I want to know how many different ways you can make them. I pretty much know about the ingredients. This is how I make mine. Butter the tortilla place butter side down on flat griddle. Put in the fillings ( chicken, beef , cheese, veggies) and fold over. Then just cook until the tortilla is crisp and the cheese is melted. Is this the only way to do it? It's so time consuming I would like an easier way. Thanks!

I make a breakfast one that is really good with sausage, cheddar cheese, green peppers, onions! Everyone in the family loves them.

actually you have it right on target.. There really is not simplier way to make them unless you like the tortilla a lil chewy.. If you don't mind it that way you can always stick it in the microwave. lol it sounds weird but it works. I make my kids cheese ones all the time when i'm trying to get them out of the kitchen when i'm trying to make them supper.

Yeah I remember my mom used to make us the same thing. Put sliced cheese in a tortilla, fold it over and pop it in the microwave. LOL I tried that the other day not as good as it was when I was five LOL!!!

I don't know of another way to make them as if you don't fry or griddle them then they are not the same thing.
