My 8 year old son requested that I make some Peanut Butter and Jelly Cookies. They are in the oven right now. We will see how they turn out. He wanted the jelly mixed in with the cookie dough. We chose seedless black raspberry. Have you ever had Peanut Butter and Jelly Cookies? Do they sound good? I will let you know how they turn out.

That sounds good as well as creative. Your son is a genius. I've never had them or seen them being made. That's an interesting choice of jelly too. I hope they turn out as well as you planned. That sounds like a great recipe. Don't forget to try out other flavors of jelly.

I was going to do grape, but we were out of grape. His choices were strawberry, orange marmalade, and seedless black raspberry.

They sound interesting. You have to post here if they are good because I might want to try some of those bad boys. :). They sound good though, should be interesting.

They were good. I was making some peanut butter cookies with toffee bits in them already, so I just took a little bit of the dough out before adding the toffee and did the jam.

I think some of the thumbprint cookies you can make, you can put jelly in them. I think that is what the filling is actually. I wonder how your peanut butter and jelly cookies will turn out. You will have to write and let us know. I'd be interested in finding out. They sound yummy actually.

I think they turned out pretty good. VERY sweet and rich! My son loved them. They are a funny color though because of the deep purple jam.
