Wearing Make Up in hot weather / myLot

We are finally seeing some warmer days over here in the uk (about time too!) and i was wondering about wearing make up in warmer weather. It has a tendancy to melt or for your sweat to make it run and generally make up doesn't hold up well againt ot weather. Personally i use mineral foundation that is sweat proof and won't melt so i wear the same amount in warmer weather as i do cooler weather. For my lips i just switch to a gloss, for my eyes i wear a make up primer or sealer and i wear waterproof mascara anyway so none of that tends to be effective. What about you? Do yuo switch to different make up, wear less or wear none at all when the warmer weather comes?

I live in Michigan in the USA. I am originally from Scotland so have very light skin. I dont wear much make, up especially in the summer. I wear a little eye liner and some lipstick. I smudge a little of my lipstick on my cheeks (that way the colors always match. A trick I learned many years ago.) And that is it. In the evening I may put on some mascars if I am going anywhere special, and a little eye shadow. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the lipstick tip, i might try that! oes ti work with lip goss too or does that make your cheeks too sticky?

I seldom wear make up any time of the year but especially in the summer time. My sister in law was telling me about the mineral foundation and I might check into it.

You should definately give mineral make up a try, i don't know many people who've tried it and not liked it.

I got where I wear none at all stopped it years ago for we were always living in the hot states or the very humid states and it wouldnt stay on

I do not wear makeup at all in the summer time. it is now so hot hear in kansas the high today is 102. If I would have makeup on it would be running off my face. lol

I sweat something terrible so my make up. The fact I live in the desert of Arizona does not help this. * Even the sweat proof kind of make up doesn't help. Summer or winter, make up rarely lasts more than a half hour to an hour. I forgo make up entirely. Fortunately, I have high color and can get away with it. I add color with big bangle earrings if I need it.

When it is warm I cannot be bothered half the time to put make up on. Then I get really cross with myself cos I look a mess! I do always put some lippy on though even if I do not put anything else on.

I don't wear makeup at all. I ca't imagine how i stays on one's ace in hot weather, and doesn't freeze there in cold weather.
