Never Borrow Never Lend if you keep a Friend.........

hi priyanki! well yeah, that is a good rule alright. but we cannot help it when there are times that friends need money, and vice versa. we cannot help it that there will be moments that we will be short of something. anyway, i just developed a new rule, don't lend something that you cannot afford to give. that way, we will not feel bad if we don't get paid. i just lend the amount that i feel i am able to give away without feeling bad. and it has worked for me. i hope it will work for you too. take care and God bless you! :)

I understand this statement, but a true friend would not stand by and watch a friend when they are in need, surely, i have helped friends by lending them money, i am afraid i could not just stand and watch a friend of mine who needs help...in fact I have been helping a firend for some years now and when he had some money come his way he immediately went to the bank and got a bank cheque made out to me for more than I feel he owed me, i know somtimes it doesn't work that way, i have been burnt in the past as well but i still think a true friend would not pass a friend by...

it depends who the people involved are. i have a friend that we both can borrow and trust the other to return the item. but there are people i can't trust to return anything. including some family.

you know what to some extent i think this is a good rule
