yesterday i was assigned in the Emergency room. i was so excited because my senior allowed me to do things and they will supervise me. Inserting an intravenous catheter needs a licensed. and unfortunately i haven't got one. but my senior allowed me to insert an IV. They said that they will be watching me and if ever i commit some mistakes they can cover up for me. Honestly im excited and quite scared. since its my first time to do it. at first attempt and second attempt i was not successful. my senior inserted the IV for me. but on my third attempt to another patient, i made it! yes i made it!

I think you should concentrate on getting your license. You dont want to be making medical mistakes and having your superviosrs cover up for you. I'm glad everything worked out ok though. I get blood taken like once a month and the nurse assistant who does it is really, really good.
