When it comes down to feeding humans verses animals, as pets, I choose humans. Humans, myself and you included, have to work for a living, to survive. Animals can live in the wild and find food from other sources. I have a cat, but if it came down to feeding my husband, myself and my twins, I would let my cat starve or look for food elsewhere. Before my babies were born, I played and spend many hours with my pets. They were my 'children' so to speak. But now, I actually have human babies who I love and are responsible for. Sorry, but humans, especially babies, have dominion over all the animals of the earth. Especilly when it comes to surviving (eating).

I think it is a good idea. I know we all get in money crunches when we need help for our fur babies.

yes animal food banks is a good idea, I see a lot of waste in this world, companies throwing stuff out for stupid reason as a post I did awhile ago how egg farmers here throw away all double yoke eggs and theere are many more companies doing the same sort of thing, these sorts of products should be given or sold at a very cheap rate for food banks...
