Anyone else browse the 'net safely with no anti-virus?

I have never used anti-virus programs while browsing the 'net. I feel that you can safely browse the internet without an anti-virus program as long as you are careful while browsing and downloading. It also helps to choose a secure browser.
For me, I use Firefox with the NoScript and Adblock add-ons, both of which block things that could potentially cause my computer harm. NoScript, for instance, blocks Javascript, Flash, and Java on all sites except those I explicitly choose to allow, and Adblock, as its name makes clear, blocks ads. Between these two add-ons, language vulnerabilities have little-to-no chance of affecting me. (Good luck trying to use XSS when Javascript's disabled!)
It also pays to be careful with downloads--I tend to do some research on the sites I download from, and only proceed in downloading if they seem like reputable sources. I also watch for the latest social engineering trick--but between Gmail's spam filter and new warnings on the evening news, it's hard to fall for spammers' cons.
I do think, however, that none of this advice would apply if you download torrents or keygens. In that case, an anti-virus program is a must, as you have no idea what those could contain. (Me, I still haven't touched uTorrent since I downloaded it...)
So, anyone else not use anti-virus programs and still have no viral attacks?
