We love watching horror movies. Our favorites are those about souls coming back for revenge, vampires, or anything that would create a scare until we find it hard to sleep at night. I would like to know what are other horror movies that you can think of that would really scare us off.

"The Grudge" is one of the scariest movies around. Supposedly, the 1960s movie "The Haunting" is the scariest movie ever made, but I didn't find it all that scary myself. My absolute favorite is Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho" from 1960. While it's not necessarily the scariest, it's the best.

I was totally spooked by the Exorcist when I watched it for the first time.I still value it as a well made movie with depth. Not a cheap gore flick.

Being from the back country, I would say Friday the 13th Part 1. Although my favorite in the series is Part 4, The Final Chapter. However, if I could not choose those titles I would say perhaps, The Exorcist for its mental stimulation.
