I got hit by a taxi yesterday!!

i was crossing the road to reach my home after the days work. it was actually a service road and there wont be any traffic on it. so, i was normally crossing the road checking on all the sides. suddenly a taxi came from no where on to the road and hit on my shoulder from left side. I fell down and i think it also made me jump. i hurted my left shoulder badly as i landed on the same shoulder. its paining. i am typing now with my right hand only. it is swollen now and i am taking the medicine.
but what irritated me was the fact that the taxi driver dint even stop after that and continued on his way. he dint even say sorry for coming on the worng side of the road. why are people like this?

Wow!! I hope you called the Taxi company and reported this. If you know the Taxi number you can file a complaint with even the police for his failure to stop like this as well. The taxi driver may claim that they did not see you, or that you were walking where you shouldn't etc, but if you are hurt, you need to get your shoulder looked at, and do something more about this.
Sorry to hear this happened to you, and hope this issue gets resolved.

ohmy dear crazy286 are you okay? Maybe you should see your
doctor after an injury like that. Did you call the taxicab
company and report this incident? and you should also have
called the police to report that cab as he was on the wrong side of the road and driving irresponsibly.That was a hit and run'accident which is a felony and I would still report
'that to the police as you were injured.You should have
'an xray of your shoulder as it could well be broken. I know
as I fell two years ago and broke my left shoulder too.

Hello crazy,
I am so sorry to hear that you were hit by a taxi, did you try to ring the cab company? he shouldn't driving now it disgusting. My husband was rideing home from work on his cycle when he was hit and broke his spine, the driver of the car just drove of, the police was unable to trace as there was no witnes to see his number plate, but another car stop to help my husband and called the ambulance, and that happened May this year but he is going to get some compensations for loss of earnings. It is inhumane to just hit and run. I really hope you are ok and I hope you went see your doctor.

Sorry to hear this.
It seems that more and more the normal in society is not to take responsibility for anything.
Taxi drivers are very aggressive, they expect things to happen. I have seen many traffic accidents caused by taxi drivers traying to make fast money.
Again, sorry to hear what happen to you.

some taxi drivers are just crazy. They dont care they just want to get where they are going. This happends a lot in big citys, people are getting hurt all the time from a taxi driver. When you are walking you have to look out all the time to make sure there is not a taxi driver coming. I hope you get to feeling better,

I gues they are just too scared to face the consequences.. Dont worry, karma is always around.. Anyway, what did you do about it? Did you go to the doctor? When I get injured because of my sport, (I play Tae Kwon Do before) I put cold packs to it for 30 mins, then rest for 30mins, then I put warm towel (you wet it with warm water) into my injury... try doing that, it makes the pain lesser

oh my god!i am terribly sorry for what had happened to you!
how come some drivers just drive carelessly and ignore others' safty,what is worse,how come the driver you mentioned didnt even stop to see whether you are ok or not after hitting you!shame on him/her!
but anyway thank god you are not seriously hurt and i hope you will get better soon~~~

So terrible it is! Hope the bad things leave you away soon.
The taxi driver is so badly, whether you got the car's no.? If you got it,I think you should ask the police for help,or should try to charge him. This kind of behavior can not be tolerated.How can he takes life for a joke?

I feel sorry for. Whatever happened that wasn't right.
But you should be more careful crossing the road, specially the busy roads.

I'm so sorry to have heard that.That must have become your bad memory.Yet it sounds very terrible that there always are so many dangers on the public roads.I suppose it is a good idea to report this accident to the police and let the insurance company know the situation.That wicked taxi driver should be punished so badly that the safety of innocent passers-by can be guaranteed.We can't ignore the justice of traffic laws which have been made to protect those who think they're walking through the roads unharmed.If not,I'm afraid that we'll even have to be watchful whenever hearing the sound from the engine of vehicles.
