Hi there! I love my pets so much. They're my family and I give them the best care that I can give especially in feeding them. Right now I'm cooking food for them and boy it smells good! I give them meat called sawdust. They are scraps of meat that come from the cutting machines just like when you cut lumber. You can buy them at grocery stores at the meat section. I cook like a kilo of sawdust with lots of garlic then I stack it in the freezer. Its good for several days to 1 week. And everytime I feed my pets I just scoop some and reheat it. Before serving it I add some vegetables in it. I usually give part of my meal so they like eat what I eat. But I don't give them what is bad especially sweet and salty foods. How about you guys? How do you feed your pets?

Hmm, I've never heard of that. What I'm interested in is the garlic you say is in it. We are fighting a bad flea outbreak here right now. I've been researching and many people feed their dogs raw garlic, powdered too, to help repel fleas. Of course some scream we'll kill our dogs, others say they have been doing it for years and never have flea or tick problems, and their dogs are healthy with beautiful coats and so on. This bunch says their vet says to give it them, then over here, this other bunch says their vet says not to give it to them. Don't really know who to believe. But I was so desperate on the dogs behalf, I crushed three cloves and mixed it in with dog food and gave all five of them a tablespoon yesterday and today. Interestingly when I ran the flea comb through them off and on all day today not one of them had a flea. We on the other hand, picked them off of us, off and on all day. Do you have a flea problem since they eat garlic in this sawdust?

Hi! Sawdust is fine though they're from scraps of meat. They're also much cheaper than dog food. It was my vet who advised me to feed my pets sawdust because he said it has natural vitamins and protiens than dog foods which has a lot of preservatives. I didn't know garlic helps to repel fleas but if it does then its good cause my dog would never be infested with fleas. But I believe garlic is good for dogs, just like in humans and according to my vet. I always bathe my pets with anti-flea soap to prevent them from flea infestation. Thanks for responding!
