Would you stay here for if mylot were more strict?

If mylot started to crack down on everyone discussions, and start seriously deleting discussions that have been made several times, would you stay? Are you one of the people who would be in trouble of possible post deletion? Would you complain? Or would you like the fact that mylot started to clean up those who abuse our system here? Well I know that I would definitely be very happy and work that much harder to make discussions that are worthy of reading as well as responses that are just as much worthy if not more of responding to. I know that there have been discussions of mine that could be considered bad, but I do my best to try and not repeat anything and I always wish for honest and lengthy opinions. Well, just like I said above please respond to me in a thorough manner and tell me what you think. I appreciate seriousness! Have a wonderfully lovely day.

lol! I dont think that you must have seen the height of strictness as mylot have shown to me. It just took away my two months of work in a day and closed my account, and am here again with my new account. In a day my discussions was decreased from 517 to 239, and earnings were decreased from $19.00 to $8.91. And I was banned from submitting discussions or post. The very next day I was banned from using my, mylot account. What say??

I am not sure what to tell you as I have not seen any of your prior discussions on your other account. However, even though I must assume that you would seeing your reply to me, I must ask for a clearer answer to my question. Would you stay here if it became more strict? Good Luck here in mylot and if there's any confusion then seek the mylot guidelines and then advice from mylot themself. Have a wonderfully lovely day.

nothing like that dear friend, I have gone through all the guidelines of mylot, and I know that very well. Also, I do understand your discussion. All I wanted to answer is that even if mylot gets more strict, I will be here, as I love discussions on different topics, and like making new friends here too.

I conciously try and avoid starting discussions which have been repeated. It may not have been in the beginning, but now invariably do a search before I start one. The problem I think happens a lot with newbies, who do not get to undertand the the whole concept. The strictness is appreciated to a large extent, moreso as a deterrent for people who may try to misuse the system and try and re post discussions which have got good responses in the past.

I think that most of the time it is the newer members and although I do not blame them as I myself know that it was a very exciting experience coming here, I would have to say that those who are rude to people are only trying to help, are very bad mannered people themself. Er, did that make any sense? lolness, well I must say that I am not sure on whether strictness is being appreciated as the silent strict behavior that my lot exhibits (aka the people to whom get post deletions and earnings deducted) seem to be a loud party here at the present. I am not saying that this is necessarily bad but I believe that in a way they put it on themself, especially if they do not learn from their own consequence. I appreciate the response, and I hope that you are having a wonderful day not only here in mylot but wherever you may reside.

Hi there SomeCowgirl! I would definitely appreciate it if myLot will be more strict. I have been here for quite a while now. What I have noticed is that as time pass by, there are more and more violations of certain myLot rules and guidelines. I believe that myLot will be a better place if and when the site admin would consider becoming more strict when it comes to the implementation of the rules and regulations.

I am not certain but I must ask for clarification on one of the things you have said. By "good policy" are you speaking of the mylot guidelines or are you talking about mylot members who post discussions? I appreciate your response to me and I hope that you have a very wonderful and nonetheless lovely day.

i'd say if mylot really does what you have said,i dont think it matters too much for me.on the one hand, that would help decrease discussions of low quality of some mylotters so as to make the remaining discussions of higher quality and more meaningful to read,on the other hand, each time i make a comment i just say out what is in my mind after the discussion and dont care about it anymore, hehe ~~~ have a good day

Hello, SomeCowgirl! I would have no problem if myLot started deleting discussions that weren't meant to be here. In fact, they do delete. Everyday they are deleting some discussions that people come up with, always the discussions that are breaking the rules in any way. MyLot has an active staff, working behind the scenes a great part of the day. I can be sure of that, because if it wasn't like that we wouldn't be in such a great community. What I have noticed, though, is that usually only a few members are creating discussion. Always the same faces in the first posts of the discussions. :D Respectfully, Munhozmib.

Being the same people at the start of a discussion is nothing to be worrying over, that just means that they are friends with this person and love responding to their discussion. I know that mylot work actively but alas to err is human and therefore sometimes anyone can forget something. Well, I appreciate the response to me, have a wonderful day!

I experienced more than that. My account itself was deleted. But here I am created a new account. I enjoy it here. I learn a lot from people here. From their postings, opinions and concerns. Maybe if they are no longer paying us, then I will think twice if I really need to leave this site. lol

somecowgirl anytime someone anywhere starts to make a lot of new stricter rules, all hell breaks lose. for onething a lot of so called similar discussions are not really all that similar, as different posters have different slants on a topic so a lot of people would be hurt unnecessarily and for what? No we do not need more censorship, what we have here wo rks just fine if we all try more to respect each other and if we would all just read the d amned rules. they are not in a foreign langugage, nor in hebrew, so what is so damned hard to read the rules? we would read the rules before putting together a bike or any kids toy, so why not read the rules before mylotting? I dont think we abuse the system in doing similar topics as in breaking the rules in our topics and in the way we make our discussions. do you really like one liners such as what is your favorite ice cream? no I do not want more strictness, I just want us to abide by the rules more.

they are not in a foreign langugage, nor in hebrew, They are not in a foreign language to us, Hatley, but to a lot of people they are(maybe these people should ask mylot admin for clarification?) I do agree that it would be much better if we all just read the rules and I realize that I should not worry about other's discussions unless they are seriously violating the rules. We can't get away from similar discussions, I know that, and variety always plays a role in similar discussions anyway. I suppose I was a bit tired and upset when I posted this, but now I realize that all we need is respect, and rule reading. I saw MYLKJ, say on a response to what may have even been your discussion, it would be nice if the newbies had to take a test before posting. I hate the one liners myself. I appreciate the response, have a wonderful day!

whatever it is mylot is strict in the present form and no need for them to become too strict for it will drive people crazy. even if mylot had to become strictr then too people will be there who use mylot with passion. of course the people who look for freedom would leave, because there is always a class of people who wish to be free and would like to air their views. you can't put them within bounds. i ama newbie and have had my ups and downs with mylot but thats life.
