Do you think we should put high expectations in our life?

This is the usual thing that happens,when there is high expectation,there would be more disappointment. Do you agree with this? I absolutely agree with this saying. Last time,I used to put high expectations in results which I had done in certain things,such as exams,assignments and etc. But often the results turned out to be bad news for me. I realized one thing,the more I expect to have,the more disappointment I will get in the end. Slowly,I have told myself just take things easy. Things will turn out to be easier and good when we have less expectations. Lol. How about you? Do you have anything to say about this? Please share with me,thanks.

Instead of placing high expectations, I try to have a more realistic one and if I exceed that then I am very happy. Set standards for yourself but do not be so hard on yourself, too.
