Who is more likable? Zero or Kaname (vampire knight)

Sometime, my friends, who are avid fans of vampire knight, about the best "man" or character in Vampire Knight.. One voted for Zero and the other for Kaname... I just want to know if what do you think of the two characters..
who will u vote for and the reason why...

Well, they are both dark, aren't they? But their being dark is different. Zero has this hopelessness in him that Kaname doesn't. So just for me, I like the Zero-type character better. ^_^

ill go for kaname kuran, hes perfect..
because hes pureblood vampire, lovable, hes strong, beautiful, kind, sweet. everything that i can ask for is all in him. though zero isnt the type of character that you can easily dump or ignore, because hes second to kaname for me and then the rest of the night class will follow

I havent watched vampire knight, but Zero is cool.
Now that you have made Kaname sound like somebody cool too, so I'll go watch Vampire Knight and come back to tell you which I feel is cooler.

Zero zero zero!!! 
I've finished the first season of anime but am a little behind for the manga.
I find Zero so intriguing. His cool attitude only makes me want to know more about him and get closer to him.
I personally find Kaname very manipulative. To me, he seems to be manipulating Yuki's feelings for him and I hate to see that.
Having said all that, both are very good looking.

aw this is such a hard question lol!! They are both so likeable! I want to say Zero, but Zero doesn't let anyone get close to him except his teacher and Yuuki and thats strechting it as it is. Until Zero can get over what happened to him and accept who he is Kaname will always be accept first and deemed more likeable on a whole person scale.
Now if you were to ask my favorite its Zero and I want Yuuki to end up with him :D I think they could balance each other out nicely.
