Do you Vacuum or sweep....

your bare non-carpeted floors? Which do you find easier?
Sometimes I just do not feel like dragging out the vacuum to do the bare floors... does anyone feel the same or do you sweep and vacuum, or just prefer one or the other?

I like to use my electric broom on the bare floors. I find it faster and cleaner. I have two cats and there's alot of fur and the vacuum picks it up better. The kitchen with it's crumbs gets cleaned better I feel with the vacuum. I find that I can get done faster that way too.

I don't hear any real good things about the rechargeable ones. The one I have is electric with a cord, which is pretty long. I think it cost me when I bought it under $25.00. It was on sale in K-Mart. I wouldn't do without one.

we have marble floors,so it is quite smooth,we'd like to use mop to clean.
we like the feeling after mopping.

I prefer vacuuming. It's easier to get dust from small corners and no worry that the dust might be blown off back on the floor. After vacuuming, mop the floor. Then, you'll get a sparkly floor.
