Global Warming????

With all the energy we use I understand that our climates are effected in some way or another. But what I was wondering is if God has this planned. The way the Earth moves and the way time works, do you think that it is just meant to be where our seasons are starting later? Do you think it is possible God has it where one day December will be our summer and July be our winter? I think it is possible that this is how the good Lord works. It is just strange to us because we ware not used to it.

The current global warming is largely due to the fact that the planet is in a warming period following the Little Ice Age that occurred during the 14th thru 17th centuries. I don't think people are causing the global warming, but are contributing to it, albeit, to a very small amount. That said, yes I think God planned this all from the beginning....His planet will go through cycles of hot and cold eras. Also is the possibility of a magnetic pole reversal which would adversely affect our seasons, from shorting one season and lengthening the opposite season, to changing the length of the day. Whatever happens will happen according to the laws of physics He set up in the beginning.

You have a good question on the table here keasling. Global warming has been going on for some years now. I believe that the environment we are in has unfortunately been affected through people and carelessness towards the ozone layer.
You might have a point that the good Lord good be behind something in all of this. Anything is possible. The Earth could change any day now and we don't know it yet.
