The Foetus: Those who curl up in the foetus position are described as tough on the outside but sensitive at heart. They may be shy when they first meet somebody, but soon relax.
This is the most common sleeping position, adopted by 41% of the 1,000 people who took part in the survey. More than twice as many women as men tend to adopt this position.
Log: Lying on your side with both arms down by your side. These sleepers are easy going, social people who like being part of the in-crowd, and who are trusting of strangers. However, they may be gullible.
The yearner: People who sleep on their side with both arms out in front are said to have an open nature, but can be suspicious, cynical. They are slow to make up their minds, but once they have taken a decision, they are unlikely ever to change it.
Soldier: Lying on your back with both arms pinned to your sides. People who sleep in this position are generally quiet and reserved. They don't like a fuss, but set themselves and others high standards.
Freefall: Lying on your front with your hands around the pillow, and your head turned to one side. Often gregarious and brash people, but can be nervy and thin-skinned underneath, and don't like criticism, or extreme situations.
Starfish: Lying on your back with both arms up around the pillow. These sleepers make good friends because they are always ready to listen to others, and offer help when needed. They generally don't like to be the centre of attention.

Well i'm a jumbled and mixed up sleeper. I adopt the Yearner, Free Fall and Starfish positions. For the yearner, I did before I met my fiance but now I usually am close to him while still doing the yearner. He hates when I do the star fish position! lol! Have a wonderful day!

I'm a combination of the first and third positions. It just depends in the night and how i end up. Both descriptions fit me too so I guess it all works out. I'm also type that uses lots of pillows and just snuggles in.

I usually sleep on my belly. With my face facing on the side instead of facing the directly on the bed.

I am all over the place on the bed, and sleep in probably dozens of positions. What does that mean? lol

I sleep lying on my back with my folded blanket over my chest. I sometimes change position, turning to the side if I find it difficult to sleep. Cheers!!

I'm the yearner...I sleep on my side with my arms out in front, and that description fits me pretty good, its hard for me to make up my mind, it drives my husband crazy..lol. He is Freefall, that fits him good too, he can be kinda brash, he's thin skinned, temper can go off just like that, and he doesn't like criticism either. This is a good discussion..have a good day

Hello!
I sleep at different positions every night! I can't really remember in what position have I slept, but probably you will be able to tell if you see me sleeping. I can't remember what position do I wake up in. Usually, I get tired of lying in bed waiting for the sleep to get me... That I end up sleeping without noticing it. Soon, I will be sleeping as soon as I go to bed, because I will be spending way more energy during the day.
Respectfully,
Munhozmib.

i sleep in a fetal position. I usually have about four to five pillows. one's for the head, two for both my sides, one for my feet and one to hold. I dunno but i just sleep that way. I can still sleep with one pillow but i find it hard to do that i get uncomfortable.

I used to be the soldier, except with my arms crossed and the hands up at my shoulders (a holdover from Vietnam to prevent the enemy from sneaking up and garroting you in your sleep). Now I am foetal.
