Am I the Only One?

Earlier today a friend sent me her link for a great new PTC site and said they were giving everyone that joined this weekend a free upgrade.
I tried her link. It didn't work, there is no such site out there.
I copied and pasted it, so I know I didn't mis-type it. She insisted it was correct and that she had no problem getting in, and that there were at least two discussions her on myLot about it and others were joining with no problem.
I tried it again. And again. And again. This went on for more than an hour. Nothing.
I even tried going to the main site, without her referral name at the end. Nope. Doesn't exist.
I tried searching for it on google. Google has absolutely nothing about this site, not a single thing was returned when I did the search. I even searched by the owner's name.
I tried the link and the search both on IE and firefox with the same results.
I was just clicking on IsabelMarco and that site was one of the links being advertised, so I thought it might come up and then I could just change the referral name at the end to my friend to give her credit, but the advertised link didn't work either.
So ...
Can anyone else get to gaborbux.com or am I the only one out here with my head spinning around? I have never encountered anything like this, and I'm beginning to think that I or my computer has leprosy.

I think it could be gatorbux. It sounds like a misprint, but I cannot understand why because on my computer the t is on the top row and the b is on the bottom row. It also could be that gaborbux went belly up and it no longer exists. That would mean it is an older link, or she could have not put in the space between gabor and bux. But that is not it. So it is news to me as well.

I tried to type the web adress into the Internet Explorer, and guess what? The website worked! In there, the following message appears:
"Dear Members,
The was hacked, until I find the security hole the site is down, I really sorry for it.
Of course every payment is refunded, exept 3 members, I wrote they e-mail.

As you can see, there are some misspellings in the notice, but this is what is shown when I try to enter the website. It got hacked, so that is why you couldn't enter it. Unlucky guy, this Gabor.

you're not missing much Ldyjarhead and the reason you might not be getting in is that they've already been hacked.
anywhere it says GaborBux the hacker has added "is a scam"

From the looks of it, I'd say this is a very unprofessional site to begin with!
Very new and already hacked into, not showing up on the search engines and the spelling and grammar errors in that message from Gabor! Geez!
I do understand that people from non-English-speaking countries are not always proficient in the English language and that's fine but, if you are going to run a website where you hope to gain many members or at least have a lot of hits, everything should be spelled correctly and grammar is very important!
That's one of the first things I learned about website design! Professionalism is extremely important! I certainly wouldn't trust this site, even if it gets going again.

I also see a message from the owner gabor, That the site is hacked.
There are a lot of sites coming up today and we can't determine whether the site is good or a scam.
hope not all sites don't turn out to be scams.

I'm not getting anything at all. Still can't find the site on any of the links people are sending me. I can't help but wonder if the hacker did something to the site and my computer isn't allowing me to even get there, due to virus or whatever.

It wasn't anyone here playing me, they joined the site and gave it to me as legitimate, just like the dozens of other people here.

I wonder why people want to do things like this to others' sites. It's disgusting, I wish there were some way to punish them or re-direct their energies. They are so intelligent and creative, why can't they direct their energies to something constructive? They'd be millionaires!

When I typed gaborbux.com in my search field, it came up with gatorbux.

Nope, I just tried it and it doesn't exist on my internet, either! I can only assume that there are several different "world wide webs" out there since some can find this site and join it, while other's can't!
I'm just kidding about the multiple internets. I know there's only one. I just wanted to assure you that you're not losing your mind and your computer does not have leprosy! LOL
I was told it does not exist, too.

The site existed a while ago. I even signed up to it! 
But when I checked the site again few minutes ago, it says that it was HACKED!

I just read the responses here on your discussion. A site that is having the problems that it is having I wouldn't join. If it is having these kind of problems and it is a new site then it would make me wonder. I for one wouldn't join no matter what kind of money they claim a person can make.

I've never heard of it. If it were legitimate, I would think that some of my contacts (on another site) probably would have been talking about it; some of them are pretty hardcore online earners.
