playing in the rain when i was a child

i loved playing in the rain when i was a child. running around with my playmates. we made paper boats and have it sail on the side walk where the rain water passes through (it was very clean that time). Now, i would never allow my child to play in the rain as i used to. because of acid rain and dirty streets. oh! how the world has changed.

I would still let a kid go out and play in the rain, as it's a lot of fun! More adults should go out and play in the rain

hahahhaa... yeah, we need to be children again... LOL... however, rain water can be pretty dirty these days... we used to stock up rain water...since it's good for the hair... that's what they told me... LOL.. dunno how true... but not anymore..

In the fifties, when I was a child, they were already saying there was awful things in the air and the rain and we shouldn't play in it. Things have not changed since then, but that "bad" rain didn't hurt us then, the little bit of "bad" rain these days probably won't hurt kids these days either. What hurts is when they are dying to go play in the rain and parents or others make them stay inside.

hehehe.. i used to love going outside and playing the rain... however of the late, i noticed that i get itchy if the rain water touches my skin... guess, it's dirty nowadays..huhuhu

We use to go out and play in the rain all the time. I lived in Scotland in my child hood and we got a lot of rain. Light drizzly days. On went the rain coat and wellies and you were outside jumping in puddles etc. Times have changed so much and I dont think for the better.

when i was a child i used to play also in the rain, that is an instinct in every child, if the rain pours every young ones wants to play in the rain...
